Svetlana Lukianova is a perfumer, educator, and cultural innovator with a visionary mission: to revive and elevate the art of Arabic perfumery through education, research, and global exchange. With more than 10 years of experience in natural and traditional perfumery, she has dedicated her career to bridging ancient fragrance knowledge with modern academic and technological methods.
Driven by deep respect for heritage and a passion for teaching, Svetlana developed the world's first comprehensive educational system devoted entirely to Arabic perfumery — from raw materials and traditions to chemistry, branding, and innovation. She is the founder of the Al-Farabi University of Arabic Perfumery, the first academic institution of its kind in the world.
Svetlana has authored and registered a complete multi-year academic program in the United States, securing full copyright protection for every course, module, and instructional day. Her curriculum spans 8 academic departments and 10 signature courses, making her university ready to operate both digitally and physically.
As a leader, she combines elegance and strength — developing vision, assembling international teams, and leading with cultural integrity and purpose. Through her leadership, Al-Farabi University is not only preserving the soul of Arabic perfumery but also shaping its global future.
